What to Expect

Client introduction and engagement with team. Secure the following input from client: discussion of style, influences, inspirational sources. Identify stakeholders. identity missing elements (landscape architects or other consultants). Identification of any of client existing furniture to be used or any “client sourced” products. Secure needed architectural documents (Revit file preferred, AutoCad or PDF can be used as well or will we need to create as-built drawings). Complete measuring and verification of space and existing furniture, window coverings. Review budget (furniture, cabinets, lighting, tile materials, countertops, etc) and schedule (set milestone meetings). Define communication expectations.

Deliver and review inspiration images for Design Intent Package (color palette, inspiration images in video format), (all memorialized in the client video). Show findings from architectural plan review, secure approval of spatial plans, paint and general paint/wallcovering plan showing locations only

Exterior specifications, presentation of general furniture spatial plan, confirmation of location of floor outlets, lighting and electrical plan, general flooring material thicknesses (tile VS wood), review cabinet planning and functionality including plumbing, recessed pockets for window treatments, built-ins and/or fireplace details, ceiling details, review specific needs of each room, review budget and schedule.  Leave client with homework including: review of plans and elevations for feedback, appliance checklist, cabinet functionality checklist. This feedback will be due to MMI within 2 weeks to allow progress prior to MS #3.

Deliver draft of Construction Drawings. Specifications presentation: delivery of material specifications including specific plumbing fixtures and applications, countertop selections, fireplace finishes, flooring (tile, stone, hardwood, and carpet) selections, stair railing design inspiration images, trim and molding details, cabinet finish (door style, color, hardware) selections and technical elevations, general wall covering (paint, wallpaper, 3-dimensional wall installations, moldings) plan.

Deliver final Construction Drawings. Furniture and Decor presentation: specific wall covering selections/applications, specify window treatment finishes, specify fabrics; art, accessories, and finishing touches including pricing in Ivy. Show samples of all materials available and provide 3D renderings of key rooms/ areas. Incorporate into overall video experience. Utilize Mable showroom as needed to “look touch feel’ and select wall art/ decor.

  • Round 1 of client requested changes to specific rooms, and furniture items. Budget modifications, phasing conversations as needed. Utilize Mable showroom as needed to “look touch feel’. Pricing in Ivy. 3D imagery.

  • Final presentation (before hourly rate of $140 an hour ensues).  Discussion of lead times and timelines. Review installation process and define communication expectations regarding arrivals (how often would client like to receive updates: 2 week minimum).

Collection of basic data required to price and estimate including wall coverings, window treatments and tile materials.

 Deliverables are beautiful visual presentations, 3D renderings, interior elevations (cabinets and important visual elements) and supplemented with homework of construction drawings.
